10 Things You Need To Know About LED TVs

http://reviews.cnet.com/led-tvs-review-10-things-you-need-to-know?tag=featuredStory

Here's a very informative article on what is the status of the latest in the television - LED TVs. To summarize, here are the key points of the article:

- LED TVs are more expensive than LCD TVs because of the production costs. However, electricity charges are only slightly cheaper for LED TVs. Plasma TVs still cost a lot.

- IMHO, nothing still beats CRT TVs in visual quality. Plasma TVs follow in the simple practical fact that vision is better anywhere you are compared to LCD and LED TVs. If you are in the center of the TV though, vision quality is better in LCD/LED TVs.

- The potential for LED TVs is still vast and promising. Expect better quality and larger resolution of TVs in the near future.

In the meantime, don't be such a hardcore hardware specialist buying yourself the latest in TV sets. Just be practical and go get a medium-range priced television set.
