Farm Town Tips and Tricks

Another app and another game from Facebook. This game is quite simple - plow, plant then harvest. As an owner of the farm, you are tasked to manage the farm and visit other farmer's towns as well too. But leveling up isn't as easy here unlike Pet Society. Here are a few things you might get interested to in doing if you want to level up as quickly as possible here:

1. For starters, the best option you have of earning money and plowing all the way is either through harvesting your friends' plantation or be lucky enough to get someone to hire you at the Market Place. In this way, you will be able to increase your capital and immediately be able to plow a lot in your own field.

2. Let others harvest your crops. No one around online in your neighbourhood? Don't get tempted to harvest your own crops. While it is true that you will earn money from this, money earned from others harvesting your crops leads you to 25% more profit than yourself harvesting your crops alone. Even when your crops are about to go to waste, there are other options to harvest this and it is by staying in the Market Place, the Inn or the Realtor's Office and hiring other farmers there.

3. Plow and plant as much your farm can accommodate as possible. If you want to quickly gain experience points as much as possible, think of designing your farm later. You need as much space to plow as possible in your lot. And adding fences, animals, barns, ponds, etc occupy what is supposed to be planted by crops won't let you earn profit faster.

4. Plant grapes seeds often if you are always online. Grapes earns you quite a small profit, tedious enough because you'll have to harvest it after just 4 hours of planting and has higher risks of going into waste. However, if you want to gain experience immediately and you're always on the PC, get those grapes planted quite often. I'd recommend you usually do this during weekends if you have lots of time to spend to online.

5. Visit the neighbourhood everyday. Just like in Pet Society, you earn 6 experience points per first visit of the day at your neighbour's farm. If you have friends whom you haven't added in the neighbourhood yet, just wait and a message will be sent to you informing that you'll have a job at their farm waiting for you. In this way, you're still gaining experience points even if your friend has not yet accepted you as his neighbour in the game.

6. Buy lot upgrade as quickly as possible. Lots are quite expensive and it gets even more expensive once you level up. I suggest you buy a lot upgrade whenever possible immediately. Profit gained from planting crops with the extra tiles you have available to plow to won't let you earn the money spent on buying the lot immediately but it will definitely have a lot of benefits as time goes buy. Besides, you'll be able to receive around 250+ experience points just for the sake of buying it.

Well, I guess that's about it. In the post "stacking" era, these are ways you can level up faster at Farm Town. Eventhough stacking, which is definitely a bug in the game's beta version, has been fixed and quite exploited by seasoned farm town players, there are definitely other ways to level up faster and more appropriate way. Just like the addition of grapes and its 4-hour harvest-ready crops. Hope you find this helpful and have fun harvesting!
